Suddenly, one day, a young man met an old man on the street. The young man stepped forward a little, greeted him, and politely asked the old man, "Sir, do you recognize me?" The old man replied, "No, father, I don't recognize you." Then the old man wanted to know, "Who are you?"

Then the young man said, "I was once your student. Oh, okay!" The old man greeted the young man and asked, "What are you doing now?" The young man replied very politely, "I am a teacher. Currently, I am teaching."

Hearing this from the mouth of his former student, the old teacher was very happy and said, "Wow! That's great! Very good! Very good!"

"You are just like me!" The young man replied with a soft smile, "Yes, I consider myself blessed to be a teacher like you." Then the young man explained the reason behind it and said, "You have inspired me a lot to be like you, sir!"

When the old teacher wanted to know the reason behind the young man becoming a teacher with some curiosity, the young man told the story of his becoming a teacher and reminded the old teacher of an incident that happened in school in the old days. While describing the incident of the old days, the young man then said to the old teacher, "Do you remember, sir? One day, a classmate of mine, who was also your student, came to class with a new wristwatch.  His watch was so beautiful that I could not control my greed. I decided that I wanted the watch no matter what. Then, taking the opportunity, I stole the watch from his pocket. After a while, my friend noticed the absence of his watch and immediately complained to our sir, i.e. you. Hearing his complaint, you said to the class, "Today, during class, this student's watch was stolen. Whoever stole it, return the watch."

Despite your instructions, I could not return the watch.

Because, the watch was very valuable to me, and besides, we were very poor, we could not afford to buy such a watch.  Then you closed the door and asked everyone to leave their benches and stand up and form a circle in the middle of the classroom floor and instructed everyone to close their eyes, then you started searching our pockets one by one until the watch was found. We all stood silently as per your instructions.

While checking our pockets one by one, at one point when you reached into my pocket and found the watch, my body was shaking with fear and shame. But at that moment, even after finding the watch in my pocket, you did not say anything and kept checking everyone's pockets till the last student. Finally, you told everyone that the watch has been found, now you can all open your eyes.  After getting the watch, my friend wanted to know from you, "In whose pocket was the watch found?" But you told him, it is not important in whose pocket the watch was found. What is important is that your watch was found.

You did not say anything to me later about the incident of that day. You did not even scold me for that act. You did not take me to any room in the school to teach me a moral lesson. That incident was the most shameful day of my life. Yet you, with great intelligence and strategy, recovered the stolen watch and saved my dignity forever.

I have been suffering from regret for many days after that incident. In class  Even though the memory of the incident that day has faded, its impact remains in my mind. I have been repeatedly bitten by the war of conscience. Then I decided that I will never do all these immoral things again. I will be a good person. I will be a teacher. I will be a true craftsman of human beings. That day, I got a clear message from you about what kind of an educationist I should actually be. I have learned from you that apart from insulting people, people can be corrected. Your generosity and generosity have made me a teacher today.

Listening to the words of the former student, tears welled up in the eyes of the old teacher! As he wiped away his tears,  The teacher smiled softly and said, "Yes, I remember that incident vividly. But I didn't remember you, because not only yours but also my eyes were closed at that time." Then the teacher sighed and said, "You tell me, father, can any teacher see his children as thieves? A teacher wants to feel proud when he sees his students as heroes.
