Are you the new customer of that digital brothel?


In the dark of night, when you tap your phone screen, hiding from everyone, doesn't your chest tremble once? Ask your inner self, what exactly are you looking for? Knowledge, entertainment, or a hint of a forbidden body peeking through the gap of an unknown woman's wet towel?


You may have a frown on your forehead, "Oh, I'm not like that!" But your phone's search history says something else! When you pass by Rabindranath's poems and stop at a poem showing a middle-aged woman's "chest groove", don't you ever think that you are actually enjoying not the poem, but her body? Poetry has now become an object of sight, not of hearing; and the cleavage is its real rhythm, its real ornament!


Just think of that scene. A woman, almost half-naked, asks in front of the camera, "Look what I'm wearing?"  And millions of men are drooling over that video. Your one like, your one view is like a coin to them. With this cheap curiosity of yours, he might be taking away the monthly salary. You think you are just a viewer. But in fact, you are the customer who is unknowingly making a digital brothel bigger day after day.


"What did I not give to Deor today!"—You are clicking like a fool on the bait of this one line. What to give, why to give, that primitive curiosity is taking control of your brain. Your brain knows that there is nothing inside, but your physical instinct is pushing you towards that filth. You are forgetting that the time that you could have spent on knowledge, that time you are spending as a spectator of a woman's cheap drama.


Even the people who talk big in society are intoxicated with this "night-life" in the depths of the night. And a group of content creators with distorted minds are taking this opportunity.  They know that the views are hidden deep in the folds of the saree, not in educational videos. They know that to awaken your masculinity, you have to make sexually provocative stories about your father, brother-in-law, or father-in-law. And you, being an educated, civilized person, are falling into that trap.


Have you asked yourself why this is happening? Because, you are also a hunter who loves easy prey. The hard knowledge of the pages of a book is boring to you, but the curves of a young woman in a towel are like nectar in your eyes. You have become a slave to that easily available excitement, which is eating away your humanity little by little. It is this famine of your taste that has brought society to this stage today.


You do not notice the content made about Aishwarya or Rabindranath Tagore, because there is no physical hint there, no smell of prohibition. You are looking for that smell.  And because of your search, today our culture, our education, our taste buds are on the brink of a terrible abyss.


How do you get yourself out of this filth?


Whenever you see a provocative thumbnail or caption, ask yourself, "What will I gain from watching this? Will I waste my precious time on this garbage?" Awaken your self-esteem.


When you see an educational or tasteful video, like it, share it. Your support will encourage good content creators. Remember, the market provides what the audience wants. Change your needs, and the market will be forced to change.


What you watch today, your child will learn tomorrow. Do you want your child to quit his studies and learn "how to make money by showing off his body"? Do you want him to make cheap sex the motto of life instead of respect and love? If the answer is 'no', then change yourself today.  Because, your taste will shape your child's future.


There is a beautiful world beyond this cheap entertainment of Facebook. Read books, spend time with loved ones, give importance to your hobbies. You will see, the emptiness inside you is filling up and all this filth will seem meaningless to you.


The last question is for you. Will you spend your life as a worm in this digital sewer, or will you live as a healthy brained person by taking responsibility for your taste?


Reading this article of mine, you may feel uncomfortable, angry. It is natural to feel that. Because, not everyone has the courage to stand in front of the mirror and look at their ugly appearance. The decision is yours. Will you remain a spectator, or will you become an agent of change?
